Reisa - Canyon With Impressive Watercourse Landscapes

The national park is dominated by Reisadalen - a canyon in northern Troms formed by the cutting action of the river Reisaelva into the mountain plateau. The park has a number of waterfalls, including Mollisfossen (height 269 meters). The bedrock exhibits considerable variation. Plant life and bird life are richer here than most places in northern Norway. Domesticated reindeer from Kautokeino graze in the area.
