Børgefjell - Wilderness Mountain Area With a Multitude of Rivers and Lakes



The park straddles the border between the Nordland and Nord-Trøndelag counties. The western part of the park has high peaks with cirque glaciers and steep-walled ravines. The park is also characterized by its gentle landscapes and its rivers, lakes and tarns. Many birds inhabit the wetland areas. Arctic foxes and wolverines also frequent the park.
