OBJECTIVES The main objective of this study is to assess the spatial and temporal vegetation changes and land-use pattern in the study area using GIS, GPS and remote sensing data. Also to classify the vegetation cover in the study area based on the forest types such as: Evergreen forest, Semi-evergreen forest, Moist deciduous forest, Dry deciduous forest and Thorny forest.
