Dandeli Anshi Tiger Reserve is one of among the protected areas along the Western Ghats and so far no systematic studies on anurans are carried out in DATR. Hence the present study was carried out with following objectives

Systematic study on the anuran diversity in the region

Anuran distribution maps, with comprehensive account on species rich regions within the ADTR.
Monitoring protocols for the region
