OBJECTIVES

Objectives of this investigation are

  • Mapping the distribution of Lion Tailed Macaque in Sharavathi River Basin.
  • To identify the habitats preferred by LTM.
  • To identify its foraging plants within the habitat.
  • Analysis of habitat status in relation to the survival of LTM.
  • To evolve strategy for conserving endangered endemic Sharavathi River Basin Fauna.
