Call for Contributions: Youth and interested stakeholders are welcome to take part in the event. Required to register for the event by submitting duly filled in application. The conference core committee welcome the high quality research contributions through e-posters from student community describing original, conceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental, or theoretical work in all areas of Solid Waste Management. The conference solicits contributions of models, designs, e-posters or scientific papers that address themes and topics of the conference. Special awards will be given to the chosen students/researchers for best presentation of technical papers and posters.


Registration Fee:

  • The committee has decided fee waiver for youth (students’ from academic institutions) taking active part in the event (through poster/ paper presentations, model, etc.).
  • Students (unable to present papers / posters/ etc.) seeking waiver of registration fee are required to send a request along with the write-up (Management of solid waste: role of stakeholders in keeping the city clean)
  • All other delegates (industry, government agencies, and representatives from NGO’s /RWA’s) are required to pay registration fee of Rs. 2000/- by demand draft drawn in favour of “Indian Institute of Science” payable at Bangalore and send to the address mentioned in the registration form.

Call for Scientific Papers:

Delegates interested in presenting papers as oral or poster need to submit the scientific paper as per the guidelines given below.

  • Guidelines for Paper Preparation: The full text paper (e-version preferably in a CD and one hard copy) formatted to A4 (210 mm x 297 mm) size, after having been scrutinized and accepted, will be printed as received, by offset process.Therefore, the text of the paper in English must confirm strictly to the following requirements and be free from errors.
  • Guidelines for Poster presentation: Size of the poster: A0 (36 x 48 inches)

AWARDS:

Authors of best poster/presentation (students from academic institutions) chosen by the review committee will be given IISc-SFD-KERF: Swacch Bharath Prabari
