Objective

The objective of the present study is to assess seasonal and taluk wise (an administrative unit to implement decentralized projects in India) wind potential in Uttara Kannada district and assess technical and economic feasibility of wind energy harvesting options, to meet the regional electricity demand in a decentralized way.
