Vinay S Civil Engineering graduate from Visvesvaraya Technological University. M.Tech from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Currently, doing his Ph.D at Visvesvaraya Technological University and associated as a research scholar at Indian Institute of Science. His area of interest are spatial pattern analysis, urban growth modelling, environmental flow assessments,  hydrology, natural disasters, geo-informatics, landscape modelling, urban planning, open source GIS, digital image processing. He is a member of the IEEE, ISRS.

Dr. Bharath H Aithal is currently a Post-Doctoral Research fellow jointly with University of South California and Indian Institute of Science. Dr. Bharath received his Ph.D from the Engineering Faculty, Indian Institute of Science in 2015. His research involves spatial data mining in understanding urban pattern and growth of cities and its transformations of various land use classes, modelling spatial patterns of transformations, carbon footprint analysis etc. He is a member at AGU, IEEE, ISRS and many such organisations. Recently he coauthored guest editorial – Bangalore: Unlivable city in Current Science 110(12): 25 June 2016

Dr. Subash Chandran M. D. has Ph.D. (Botany) from Karnatak University and is working as a visiting scientist at Energy and Wetland Research Group, Centre for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. 32 years career teaching Botany in Dr. Baliga College of Arts & Science, Kumta, in Karnatak University. He has published over 88 research papers in reputed journals. Research areas cover forest ecology of Western Ghats, ecological history, sacred groves, conservation, coastal ecology, estuarine fishes and mangroves, Myristica swamps, landslides, Ecological Carrying Capacity studies for Uttara Kannada etc.

Dr. Shashishankar A has Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Mangalore University. He is currently working as Professor and Head of Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, at Jain University, Ramanagara. His are of Interest are Green Buildings, Environmental Management, Alternate Building materials, etc.

Dr. Ramachandra T.V, has Ph.D. in energy and environment from Indian Institute of Science. At present, Coordinator of Energy and Wetlands Research Group (EWRG), Convener of Environmental Information System (ENVIS) at Centre for Ecological Sciences (CES), Indian Institute of Science (IISc). He has made significant contributions in the area of energy and environment. His research area includes wetlands, conservation, restoration and management of ecosystems, environmental management, GIS, remote sensing, regional planning and decision support systems. During the past twenty years he has established an active school of research in the area of energy and environment. He teaches principles of remote sensing, digital image processing and Natural resources management. He has published over 248 research papers in reputed peer reviewed international and national journals, 51 book chapters, 212 papers in the international and national symposiums as well as 15 books. In addition, he has delivered a number of plenary lectures at national and international conferences. He is a fellow of Institution of Engineers (India), IEE (UK), Senior member, IEEE (USA) and many similar institutions.
