- Assess the impacts of urban spatial parameters on greenhouse gas (GHG) emission in two cultural contexts - Bangalore (India) and Xian (China).
- Explores alternative methodologies in urban land use planning and management to GHG emission control;
- Addresses a cross-country dimension in GHG emission associated with urban land use and
- Models to inform planning and design actions aimed at realizing low carbon urban development.
