Abstract: Hypoxia is one of the potential stressors associated with global warming and climate change in aquatic systems, which refers to a dissolved oxygen level less than 2.8mg 0/2L 9equivalent to 2mL 02/L or 91.4 mM). More precisely, hypoxia occurs when oxygen level in water is less than 25 percent of the saturation at a particular temperature. Hypoxia in aquaculture systems usually occurs due to pollution, crowding, or high stocking densities. It is a condition at which most organisms become unable to maintain physiological homeostasis or fail to survive.

Abstract: In the present day, urban water supply and sanitation infrastructure is an important and critical area. Water resources are depleting, but cities are expanding with an ever-increasing population, creating tremendous pressure on the existing water infrastructure. For our cities to be sustainable with respect to water, efficient water and wastewater infrastructure, energy to transport and manage water, or smart water management (SWM) system as a whole will be required. Water infrastructure are frequently neglected, yet are basic parts of energy management in urban areas, regularly involving 50 percent of an urban aggregate energy spent. Energy is the biggest manageable expense in water/wastewater processes, yet enhancing wastewater treatment plants and dissemination system has frequently been marginalized as a source of authorizing operating cost by financially destitute municipalities. Timely decisions by authorities for operation could result in 30 percent less consumption of energy and reduction of water losses by 15 per cent. There is a need to develop a system that keeps in mind the smart water concept and be able to continuously monitor water flow and distribution in city water infrastructure. Besides, this system should be accurate and efficient to aid analysis forecasting and consumption of water, respectively.
