AWDARS/FELLOWSHIPS

The Karnataka Environment Research Foundation announces fellowships (through KERF - Environment Fund [KERF-EF]) to fund research, training and programmes to enhance public awareness of environmental issues.

The main focus of the fellowships is to promote sustainable management of the environment. KERF-EF proposes to enable deserving school and college students to undertake studies related to environment, ecology, forestry, energy, wetlands, etc., and prepare technical documents, manuals and monographs, through the fellowships.

Criteria for deciding the award of fellowships are as follows:

	Candidates should be in the age group of 13-22 years, pursuing studies in educational institutions (schools, colleges and universities);
	Candidates should have proven academic record;
	Candidates are required to submit a brief write-up (750 words) about the proposed study (duration could be 2-3 months);
	Proposed project should be related to the goal of KERF-EF;
	Short listed candidates would be invited for an interview / discussion / seminar.
