Abstract

Abstract: The feeding ecology of the bonnet Macaque (Macaca radiata diluta) is discussed. 68 plant species were observed being eaten, but this is now where near the maximum. Fruits and insects constituted the bulk of the diet. Super abundant food sources like fruiting fig trees accounted for the majority of feeding observations. Various proportions dealing with aspect of feeding behavior are examined.
