Abstract: The paper describes 38 species of fishes belonging to 21 genera, 12 families and 8 orders from Madumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, Tamilnadu. Common names, vernacular names, notes on morphological chararcters-range of distribution, status and relative abundance have been described.
