Abstract: Biomass and the primary production of shrubby vegetation in the forest of ( Bannari) Satyamangalam were stidied. Mallotus tetratcoccus (Roxb), Casi carendus (L), Cassia riculata (L), Jasminum augustifolium (Vahl) and Elaeocarpus serratus (L) were taken to the study.The annual net primary productivity of the shrubby vegetation amounts was observed in the rainy season followed by winter and summer.
