Abstract: In the present study various geomorphological units are demarcated to generate a basic geomorphic map which can be used in various environmental investigations. It distinctly reveals the importance and potentials of remote sensing techniques to collect reliable data on various aspects of land at higher scales of generalization of speedily and commercially compared to conventional methods.
