                     ANNOUNCES A SHORT COURSE ON
                         RECENT ADVANCES IN
                        CONSERVATION GENETICS

Summer 1996, August 3-16

At NOAHS-Conservation Research Center, Front Royal, VA
outside Washington, DC, a two week intensive hands-on course
is offered in methods, applications and interpretation of
molecular genetic analysis of free-ranging endangered species.
This course will be taught by a team of scientists whose
personal experience offers a variety of expertisein this
important new field. Learn from recognized experts how to
develop and interpret a wide range of genetic data using
real examples, laboratory demonstrations and a variety of
computer programs.
