   This is a hypertext proceedings (hyperceedings) of the conference.  Usage
of the hyperceedings system involves menus and guidance panels at the bottom
of the screen.  Proceedings are available only in this softcopy form.  The
presentation system includes capability for marking and printing blocks of
text.  The text is in the form of ASCII files which can be transferred to a
word processor for generation of hardcopy.  Figures are separated as .PCX
image files which can be manipulated with Windows Paintbrush.  Permission is
hereby granted to make any number of such hardcopies, and also to copy this
diskette.

   Executables for the GNOSIS presentation shell are also available as
shareware.  The shell and its capabilities are described briefly under one
