Research Conducted: Molecular diagnosis of Burkholderia(Pseudomonas) pseudomallei infections using PCR. We also produced specific antigens by Molecular Biology techniques. This bacteria is the causative agent of human melioidosis. The disease is endemic in Southeast Asia and Australia.
