The EON (Environment On the Net) discussion list.

*********************************************************************

Purpose and Scope

The EON discussion list is a vehicle for continuing the work of the Environment on the Net Conference, held May 9-10, 1996, in Seattle, Washington, U.S. The purpose of this list is VERY specific: discussions on techniques for effectively using the Internet and Intranets (including Lotus Notes) for environmental applications. One-time announcements of Internet resources, publications, conferences, and services specific to this topic are welcome.

This list is NOT the place for any of the following:

In the spirit of The Environment on the Net Conference, the EON discussion list is open to all who are interested in environment applications of the Internet -- from all sectors (academia, activist, government, and industry) and all perspectives. Since we will NOT be having political debates on this list, all should feel welcome.
