The Earth Council is pleased to announce the launching of several new
"interactive" features on the Earth Charter Campaign website.  We invite
you to participate in the campaign by first visiting the website or by
contacting us directly for more information.

You can participate now, through:

1. An on-line survey allowing visitors to read and react to each of 
   the 18 principles contained in the "Earth Charter Benchmark Draft." 
   ("LIVE" statistical results of the survey will be available soon.)

2. An interactive "Calendar of Events" allowing campaign partners and
   others to publicize their own Earth Charter-related activities/
   meetings/events/etc. directly through the on-line calendar. Take a 
   look, and feel free to register and post your own announcements.  
   Go ahead!

3. A growing on-line discussion forum inviting individuals and
   organizations from around the world to discuss the Earth Charter 
   draft document, the on-going consultation process, and prospects 
   for the adoption of a "People's Earth Charter" by national 
   governments and the United Nations by the year 2002 -- the 10th 
   anniversary of the Earth Summit.

4. Contacting one of the Earth Charter National Committees or global
   campaign partners.  Contact information including links to existing
   national/global campaign websites can be accessed from the homepage
   through the "Global Campaign" or "Earth Charter Community Pages" 
   buttons.

We welcome your input, recommendations, and participation in the campaign,
and we hope to see you on-line soon!
