The Mobi-DK General Equilibrium Project

The Ministry of Business and Industry
General Equilibrium Model for Denmark
The MobiDK Project was established in September 1996 to develop a modeling capability to evaluate government policies that the Ministry is responsible for.
This capability entails...
- the assembly and documentation of a wide range of policy-relevant data, to enable rapid responses to be made to policy debates;
- the construction of a "generic" model that can be used for general policy evaluations purposes;
- the construction of several "special purpose" models that are tailored to the study of specific policy issues relevant to the Ministry;
- the development of skills in applying models and evaluating their results within the Ministry; and
- the provision of modeling skills to any interested party in Denmark, including other ministries, lobby groups, and academic institutions.
The co-directors of the MobiDK Project are Professor Glenn W. Harrison and Professor Thomas F. Rutherford.
The MobiDK Project has offices in Copenhagen. Address generic correspondence to: Project MobiDK, Division of Economic Analysis, Ministry of Business and
Industry, Slotsholmsgade 10-12, DK-1216 Copenhagen K, Denmark. Specific telephone contact numbers are provided in the "Research Team" page. The
general FAX number is (45) 3312-3778 and a general E-mail contact is ecoc@em.dk.
