You can browse it by diving into the hierarchy, and you can search it for keywords. It has three main "chapters": Computing (with emphasis on Macintosh and Solaris) Sciences (with heavy emphasis on statistics) The WWW (tools for populating pages) The things grows each day, and I have planned further extensions to the interface (nothing really fundamental, though). It seems to me this is a more compelling way to organize information than an endless flat page with links. Also, the trees are too deep to be captured elegantly with frames. You can send me suggestions for links. I do not provide links to commercial software, however. You can also get the source code, but in order to use it effectively you need Apache 1.2.x, PHP/FI 2.10 or higher, and mSQL 2.0b installed on your web site. If you set up the source properly there will also be buttons and interfaces for creating, deleting, and editing links. -- Jan de Leeuw; Professor and Director, Interdivisional Program in Statistics; US mail: 8142 Math Sciences Bldg, Box 951554, Los Angeles, CA 90095-1554 phone (310)-825-9550; fax (310)-206-5658; email: deleeuw@stat.ucla.edu www: http://www.stat.ucla.edu/~deleeuws/bookmarks.phtml?book=uclastat&parent=/
