You may want to consider:

Ecolecon@csf.colorado.edu [Ecological Economics list]

and

resecon@lsv.uky.edu [Land and Resource Economics Network]

The former is a majordomo list, the latter is a listserv. I can't
recall the specifics for majordomo, but it goes something like:

send-to: majordomo@csf.colorado.edu
body: subscribe ecolecon email@your.address

For the listserv it goes:

send-to: listserv@lsv.uky.edu
body: subscribe resecon first_name last_name

have fun. They are very different lists, catering to different kinds
of economists.

If you have web access, one good list of e-mail discussion groups can be
found at:
   http://www.liszt.com/com.sers/jordan/myths/./JEmenu.htmG/

Another good source is a search engine for listservers at:
   http://catalog.com/vivian/interest-group-search.htmlhtmG/

Theres's also the Publicly Available Mailing Lists site at:
   http://www.neosoft.com/internet/paml/oup-search.htmlhtmG/

and a number of other resources at:
