Greetings fellow John Muir enthusiasts!

We are pleased to announce a new John Muir Education Discussion Mailing List.
(A few of you may receive duplicate copies of this message - we're sorry
but this is the only way to announce the mailing list to everyone!)

The John Muir Education discussion list is sponsored by the Environmental
Education Committee of the Sierra Club to host discussions about the life and
contributions of the Sierra Club's founder, John Muir.

Participants may discuss anything about John Muir. The focus is on projects
relating to the Sierra Club's John Muir Education Project -- the John Muir Day
Study Guide, the John Muir Youth Award program, and the John Muir Exhibit World
Wide Web site, http://www.sierraclub.org/john_muir_exhibit. Teachers in K-12 or
college teaching are especially invited to participate.

Please feel free to pass on this announcement to other mailing lists or people
