On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Centre for Ecological Sciences, I am happy to present this report which provides a glimpse of our research, teaching and extension activities as well as of our facilities. The Centre has published 192 technical research papers which are listed in this report and in more detail, with abstracts, in a separate report entitled Scientific Publications 1983-1993.
