INITIAL INFORMATION

Ukraine takes one of the first places in the world of waste accrued. By valuations they make 1,4-1,5 billions tons in a year at total volume 15 billions tons and take about 13000 sq. km. The waste density in Dnieper-river region makes from 8 up to 18 thousand tons per sq.km at a general level in Ukraine are 3 thousands tons per sq.km. The most part of technogenous load is provided with coal power stations. Only in Dnepropetrovsk region is concentrated three large coal power stations: Pridneprovie, Zaporizhzhe and Krivoy Rog Power Station, wich summary power about of 9 million kW.

The ash compose of 80-85 % of waste, which formed on coal burning. The ash and slag are fill many areas on best lands near Dnepropetrovsk. At present on PCCP is accumulated already about 15 millions tons of ash and will be annually formed 500-600 thousands .

THE INITIAL REQUIREMENTS TO THE PROJECT

In the project principles of the decision of a main problem -the complex and salvaging Pridneprovie Heat Power Station (PHPS) ashes and slags- should be opened, technical essence of offered methods of processing and salvaging waste is stated, characteristic of the equipment necessary for this purpose is given.

Main idea of the project should be reception of commodity production from waste at maximum salvaging of secondary products of processing ( first of all the aluminium, other valuable and of rare-ground metals ) and energy, exception toxical gaseous, liquid and firm pollution.

The project is represented in a technical proposal on creation of a centre on waste processing and salvaging.
