The upcoming issue of The GreenDisk Paperless Environmental Journal will examine the nuclear catastrophe at Chernobyl ten years ago in the context of broader issues of nuclear power, safety, economics and waste disposal. How real is the threat of another Chernobyl-type disaster occurring? What is the future of nuclear power? Submissions of articles and resource listings on this topic are welcome.

Twenty-three research compendia -- on subjects ranging from the Decline of Global Fisheries to Environmental Building & Design -- have been published to date. Regular features of each issue disk keep our readers (activists, journalists and educators) updated on a broad spectrum of environmental subjects, informing them of publications and other media that have been recently released, upcoming meetings and events, college programs, employment opportunities and new developments in the use of computers for research and activism.

If you are involved in a project you would like our readers to know about, please send us a description, press release or article via email, on disk or by surface mail. We provide an extensive index of environmental newsletters, journals and magazines and will reference your organization if you place us on your publication comp list.
