Objectives

Enhanced availability of relevant thematic area information through Sustainable Development Network Partner.

Activities

Recognise Sustainable Development Network Partners in premier institutions / organizations across the country on 15 thematic areas already identified under UNDP programme.
To develop New thematic areas (5) and also establish Sustainable Development Network Partner on these thematic areas.
Network 11 ENVIS Nodes identified on spatial platforms using spatial technologies.
Provide support to 13 ENVIS Nodes for creating databases and putting them online.
To conduct two workshops with SDNP partners.
Prepare a report on similar global scientific networks including Indian.
To update the Sites and Content of the website at url : http://sdnp.delhi.nic.in/
Publish annual ENVIS Newsletter on subject specific ENVIS Nodes and activities.
Prepare a report on the Sustainable Development Network.
