Abstract: Ornithological records obtained in the Annamalai Hills are presented. Information concerning notification, seasonal occurrence and relative abundance are furnished wherever possible. Historical comparison are made and conservation concerns raised for some species that are typical for evergreen forest habitat. Some significant species are not noted in this period are also discussed.
