HSBC SCHOLARSHIPS

HSBC, the world's local bank, offers two scholarships for undergraduate or graduate studies at Oxford, Cambridge and London Universities.

The students have to be academically brilliant ; scholarships recipients will be marked by significant contribution to the community in which they live and work.

Over a period HSBC scholars will for our influential international alumni network, bringing vision and commitment to improving lives of citizens throughout the world.  The scholars are expected to use their education for the benefit of others.

Eligibility :

1. Candidates should be Indian citizens ; below 25 years of age as on Sept. 1, 2004.

2. For U/G and graduate studies in Oxford, Cambridge and London Universities ( not open for Ph.D. Students )

3. Candidates must have gained admission independently.

Worth of Scholarship

upto GBP 25,000 per year ; it covers

University fees
Board & lodge expenses for one student
Books
One return economy airfare from India to London ( for each of three years )
