and lecturers for the following posts at Royal Bhutan Institute of
Technology, Phuentsholing, Bhutan.
PROFESSOR / SENIOR LECTURER /LECTURER
Qualification requirement:
Ph. D / M.Tech in Structural Engineering,
Ph. D / M.Tech in Environmental Engineering,
Ph D / M Tech. in High Voltage Engg.
Ph. D / M.Tech. in Power System Engineering / Electrical Machine,
Ph. D /M.Tech. in Power Electronic & Control System
Ph D / MA in English
Ph. D / M Sc in Chemistry
Ph.D holders will be given preference and will be entitled to two
advance increments.
CATEGORY ^Ö A (For candidates who have 8 or more years of experience)
Cadre & Grade : TC-10 (TC-2), Grade-IV
Initial Basic Pay : Rs. 12,400.00 per month
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12,400-325-17,275
Contract Allowances : Rs. 8,650.00 per month (fixed)
Teaching Allowance : Rs. 5,580.00 per month (45% of basic
pay)
OR
CATEGORY ^Ö B (For candidates who have between 4-7 years of experience)
Cadre & Grade : TC-10 (TC-2), Grade-V
Initial Basic Pay : Rs. 10,950.00 per month
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10,950-290-15300
Contract Allowances : Rs. 6450.00 per month (fixed)
Teaching Allowance : Rs. 4,928.00 per month (45% of basic
pay)
Terms & Conditions of Appointment:
i. Appointment will be under Contract, initial for a period of
three years, renewable on mutual consent.
ii. A candidate selected for contract appointment shall sign an
undertaking for adherence to the Civil Service Code of Conduct &
Ethics 2002 before joining the service
iii. Medical Facilities and Leave Travel Concession will be
granted as per the Bhutan Civil Service Rules.
iv. Candidates will be entitled to gratuity equivalent to one
month's basic pay for each completed year of service.
v. An amount equal to actual TA in first class train / bus and
DA for the number of days of travel shall be paid to the selected
candidate for appointment on contract towards travel expenses to
begin employment. This facility shall be extended to the family who
actually joins the employee at the place of posting.
