Dear friend,

We are currently reorganising many of our programmes ^Ö expanding 
and consolidating our activities -- and so are looking for colleagues to 
work with us. The key positions involve:

Senior researchers and programme coordinators to research, write 
and lobby on policies and practices related to rural resources like 
forests, water,land and institutions;

Senior researchers who can both analyse and write on subjects 
related to water and other toxic related pollution;

Reporters and researchers to write and research for Down To Earth; 

Art editor to coordinate our campaign-publication and Down To Earth 
related work;

We also need colleagues to revamp and run our website:

We are planning to reorganise our website and information services 
work.We find there are many new developments taking place in the 
field of information technology and its management and there are 
many new ways that we can use our website and phenomenal library 
resources for effective outreach.  

But to do this well we need skilled and driven colleagues. We are 
looking for someone to manage our website so that we can build links 
with information systems, outreach and service the environmental 
community in India and other regions. We are not fussy about age or 
experience. We are looking for people with skills (and some crazy 
streaks), who want to build the best website on environmental 
information in the country.

As you know, CSE is a knowledge-driven institution. We need people 
with both skills and passion. The work at CSE and Down To Earth is 
exciting but it does demand tremendous tenacity and initiative. For
