Botswana: Bushmen's message to Survival supporters as trial resumes
As the Bushmen's landmark court case resumes in Botswana, two Bushmen completed a tour of the US and UK with a message to Survival supporters: 'If Survival was not there a lot of Bushmen would be in prison for hunting. Now if the wildlife scouts arrest us and torture us they are afraid Survival will make a lot of noise about it.'

Paraguay: Ayoreo issue urgent appeal for letters
A bill being debated in Paraguay's Senate will provide a vital safe haven for uncontacted Ayoreo-Totobiegosode Indians. Local supporters are appealing for members of the public to write letters in support of the bill.

UK: World's indigenous people slam UK government
Indigenous organisations from around the world have criticised the UK government's attempts to block the recognition of their rights. Recent negotiations to finalise a UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples were almost wrecked when the UK government attempted to remove all references to 'collective rights'.
