A number of interesting new publications have been added to the HEDON
library ( www.hedon.info/goto.php/library.htm ):

*** 1) GEF ***

Two publications recently published (December 4 2003) by the Small
Grants Programme (SGP) of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) are as
a result of over ten years of implementing community climate change
change projects under GEF. In one of the publications, about 50 case
studies of energy projects have been profiled while the other
publication consolidates lessons and experiences of the SGP climate
change (energy) activities.

1) "Responding to climate change, generating community benefits" - may

2) "Community Action to Address Climate Change: Case Studies Linking

A fascinating story of community action has been documented by HEDON
member Shirish Sinha in the September 2003 issue of "Energy for
Sustainable Development" (ESD) ( www.ieiglobal.org/esd.html ). The
article "Tare Tare Kiss: the story of a tribal women's self-help
group's struggle to get electricity in their village" is available to
download at www.hedon.info/goto.php/view/94/library.htm or directly
