Online Chat on  â^À^ÜGreen Cities â^À^Ó Plan for the Planet!â^À^Ý

The Environmental Information System (ENVIS) Centre of the Department of
Environment Chennai is organising an Online web chat by the administrators
and experts with the public on important environmental issues like
Pollution control, Solid Waste Management, hospital waste Management, Rain
Water Harvesting, Environmental Education, Biodiversity conservation and
Coastal Regulation issues.
An online web chats with Mr. Dattatri,  Former Urban Planner, CMDA is
scheduled on June 15, 2005 at 3.00 p.m.  The topic for the discussion will
be on â^À^ÜGreen Cities â^À^Ó Plan for the Planet!â^À^Ý

The agenda for the discussion will be on Empower people to become active
agents of sustainable and equitable development. Promote an understanding
that communities are pivotal to changing attitudes towards environmental
issues. Advocate partnership which will ensure all nations and people
enjoy a safer and more prosperous future.

We request all the participants to log on to the ENVIS web page
