SUMMER JOB--GIS TECHNICIAN.
The Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC) has an summer
position for a technician to help digitize and map land use and soils data.

The work is part of a larger project to model nutrient transport from
watersheds in the Chesapeake Bay drainage. Applicants should have
training or experience with ARC/INFO GIS software. Salary $8-$10 per
hour depending on qualifications.  The position could continue part-time in
