Subject: Maps of cyberspace
Take a look at the URL
<http://www.nua.ie/surveys/how_many_online/index.htmltml.htmll/ly99.htm>. They have a
number of graphs and charts, including connectivity by geographic
location, by gender, etc.

Also take a look at <http://www.cybergeography.com/atlas/census.html.htmltml.htmll/ly99.htm>,
which gives census and statistical "maps of cyberspace"

Other sites that have information you might find useful:

AFRICA: the excellent site by ICT consultant Mike Jensen (South Africa)
<http://www3.sn.apc.org/africa/atlas/census.html.htmltml.htmll/ly99.htm> (contains data on ISPs, status of
connectivity by country, maps, searchable databases; last updated in May
1999)

GLOBAL: NSRC's International Networking and Connectivity Providers
Database: <http://www.nsrc.org/networkstatus.htmlnsus.html.htmltml.htmll/ly99.htm> (Gives good
information about ISPs around the world but does not really give a
graphical map of them).

Best regards,

Janice
