Summary
The Internet experience is transforming right before our eyes, moving
beyond simple staples such as email and chat to a new world of far richer
date types and immersive environments. This new "rich media" includes high
quality audio and video, interactive animation, high resolution imagery and
real-time data - all closely coupled with next generation back-end
applications, databases and transaction systems. Rich media technology on
the Internet is enabling a whole generation of exciting new services for
end users, and creating new markets for technology vendors, network service
providers, media and e-commerce companies.

This symposium brings together recognized experts in diverse disciplines
who will help shape the future. Plan to attend and leave better informed
about the acceleration of rich media technologies and their impact on you
and your company.
