CALL FOR PAPER SUBMISSIONS TO THE

COLORADO JOURNAL OF INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL LAW AND POLICY

                --------------------------------

I would like to invite you to submit a paper to the Colorado
Journal of International Environmental Law and Policy for possible
publication. The Journal is dedicated to the examination of environmental
issues with international implications. We are a biannual,
interdisciplinary journal. Our audience includes policy-makers,
attorneys, scholars, students, and non-governmental organizations
concerned with international and environmental issues.

CJIELP publishes on a wide variety of topics within the field of
international environmental law. On occasion, the Journal publishes theme
issues, or issues with Focus sections. In the past these theme issues
have included: the rights of indigenous peoples; the North American Free
Trade Agreement; Biodiversity and Biotechnology; and the United Nations
Conference on Environment and Development. We are planning
our winter, 1996 issue as a theme issue focusing on water resource
management, including ocean and fisheries law and policy, however we would
be pleased to receive submissions on any topic within our publishing
venue.

We will publish two editions during the 1996-97 academic year.
Deadlines for submission are August 26, 1996 for the winter edition, and
February 1, 1997 for the summer, 1997 edition. Please feel free to
contact me if you have questions or for further information at
303-443-9940, or by email at: Hopfl@ucsu.colorado.edu.

If you do consider publishing with the Journal, please bear in
mind that we are a legal publication, and require substantial footnotes.
Every assertion of fact should be cited with enough specificity to enable
our staff to verify the information by checking it against the original
source.

Submissions to CJIELP should be sent to:
