With regard to the positive experience I have had with the maintaining of "The Shrew Network" a.k.a. "The Shrew Shrine" (see address below) for many years, it was proposed that I take over this duty for the Dormouse Specialist Group ... I am trying to do my best and am investing as much effort as my time allows. The Dormouse Hollow as it is online now is a preliminary framework for this network. I will be waiting for contributions and suggestions to make the "Dormouse Hollow" a functioning network and a useful source of information... The web site aims at not only becoming a place for zoologists specialized in the biology of the Gliridae and a scholarly forum, but also wants to provide public awareness of dormice, furnish enjoyable "dormousing" and to serve an educational purpose. Many visitors to the site enjoy reading in depth about scientific work with dormice. The pages are composed of numerous contributions by a great number of people who thought it worthwile to share their experience, scientific records and illustrations. Contributions are most welcome! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- How to become a member / subscribe to 'Dormouse Talk': Please visit the following link and fill out the application form http://www.glirarium.de/dormouse/application.html http://www.glirarium.de/dormouse/application.html">Application Form ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Scientific Committee: Dr. Rimvydas Juskaitis: Institute of Ecology, Akademijos 2, LT-2600 Vilnius, Lithuania Dr. Boris Krystufek: Slovenian Museum of Natural History, P.O.
