Bruce Williamson"Subject: Ecology Positions open at Louisiana State University Assistant/Associate Professor - Ecology positions The Department of Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University and A&M College, Baton Rouge, invites applications for two anticipated tenure-track positions in Ecology, one at the Assistant Professor level, and one at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, available August 2001. We seek ecologists who will complement our departmental strengths in systematics, ecology, and evolutionary biology. Applicants are encouraged to visit our website at http://www.biology.lsu.edu. The successful candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and postdoctoral experience in ecology or related field. They will be expected to develop strong, competitively funded research programs, direct student research, and teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
