Graduate assistantships are available in 12 departments or programs as listed below. In addition, the newly established Plant Science Fellowships provide outstanding candidates with funding for the first two years of study. Fellows may select a department upon enrollment, or if desired, may perform research rotations in any plant science-related laboratory on campus, regardless of department or program. After the first year, rotating students will choose a major professor and graduate degree program; after the second year, funding will be provided by the major professor and department. Each Plant Science Fellow also will receive a $2000 professional enhancement grant to facilitate travel to scientific meetings or other relevant activities.
