The position will automate and manage spatial, textual, and image data in Arc/INFO and ArcV= iew databases; relational database management systems; prepare maps and wildl= ife habitat models; and write applications for Arc/INFO and ArcView, for delivery via the Colorado Division of Wildlife=92s (CDOW) Natural Diversi= ty Information Source (NDIS). Requirements include a BS (MS preferred) in geography, ecology, informat= ion science or related field and thorough knowledge of Arc/INFO, ArcView software. Experience with GRID or Spatial Analyst, programming in AML and Avenue desirable. Preference given to candidates with experience in development of scientific applications delivered over the Internet. Salary 25-30K/yr. (depending on experience) with benefits and generous vacation. Currently funded for 1 year with the opportunity for extension.
