Announcement: February 2001
Summary: In response to announcements by the Tandem Business Unit suppliers,
sales of two tape product lines are being discontinued: the 5194/96 and the
DLT7000. Fujitsu Computer Products of America, which supplies the 5194/96
tape drive products, has announced that it will stop accepting orders for
these products on June 30, 2001, and will cease shipments on December 31,
2001. Tributary Systems Inc., supplier of the DLT7000 tape drive products,
will stop accepting orders for the DLT 7000 products, 5157, 5157ACL, and
5158ACL on March 31, 2001.
