From: "Prof. Walter Leal Filho"Subject: Research Register on Environment and Sustainability Dear Colleagues, This is a short reminder about the research register of projects on environmental management and sustainability.Launched in April 2000, it has dozens of entries from over 30 countries. You are warmly invited to enter your research project and join the register free of charges. The aim of the register is to document and disseminate information on on-going projects in the areas of environmental management, environmental health and sustainability, and to foster networks. The benefits to authors are many and include (in addition to international exposure) the possibility of marketing themselves and their research capabilities, plus increased networking. It is also envisaged that some of the best studies registered will be published in forthcoming issues of "Environmental Management and Health" (EMH) and the "International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education" IJSHE), two fully-refereed journals and leading periodicals in these fields. The registration is of course free of charges. Registered entries will be placed in a "holding area" and will be disseminated to the general public upon their review. No matter if you are working in the education sector, industry, government or at an international agency, or the the focus of your environmental work, the register will give you the chance to set a foot in the research world, and to take part in a first-class research promotion exercise. Interested colleagues should register now, to secure a place in what is a major resource for the dissemination of scholarly research. You can place your entry, on-line, at:http://www.mcbup.com/research_registers/emh/sponsors.asp. Organisations interested to access these journals by means of institutional agreements may contact Jenny Pickles at jpickles@mcb.co.uk.There are preferential subscription terms now available for them! Please ask Ms Pickles for further details. Walter Leal Filho
