Purpose: 3rd day of Lake Symposium (Lake 2016: Conference on Conservation and Sustainable Management of Ecologically Sensitive Regions in Western Ghats [THE 10TH BIENNIAL LAKE CONFERENCE] ) is exclusively for students and teachers from Schools, Colleges and Universities.
Awards will be given for best paper presentations (category wise) during Lake 2016. Workshops are being organized to train students and teachers to take active part in ecosystem mapping, inventorying and monitoring of biodiversity in the neighborhood. Study area could be the village (student/teachers respective villages). Details are available at
