Joint Round Table Discussion Background: Infrastructure and environmental constraints associated with the unplanned urbanisation has put most of the cities in developing countries at a competitive disadvantage. Problems of collective provision are demanding innovative in situ local and regional governance and regulatory solutions around issues such as investment in hard infrastructure and affordable housing. Local infrastructural solutions to entrepreneurial modes of growth are increasingly influenced by wider debates about quality of life, carbon reduction, and social and environmental sustainability. Proposed Joint Round Table discussion provides a forum for interaction with strategic actors and policymakers Date : 14th May 2009, ThursdayVenue : Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy (CSTEP)CAIR Building,
